Museum Passes
New to the Library: A Pass to Zoo New England (and Museum Of Science for Fowler Branch) purchased by the Friends in honor of Rebecca Purcell, retiring President of the Friends.

Most Passes are funded by the Friends of the Library and may be used for free or reduced
admission at the following locations: Acton Discovery Museum, Annual ParksPass (funded by Mass DCR), Boston Children's
Museum, Concord Museum, DeCordova Museum, Fruitlands, Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), Isabella Stewart Gardner
Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, New England Aquarium (Sept.-June), Orchard House,
Peabody Essex Museum, Science Museum and Zoo New England (new). Reservations may be made for current and next month. Each
museum has its own policy for use of its pass. Check with the Circulation desk.

Library Card Registration Form [Download Form]
To obtain a Minuteman Library Card from us, just download the form, fill it out and bring it to the Circulation Desk with your valid ID. Children may obtain a library card when they are able to write their first and last name on the form and on their library card. The child's parent or legal guardian must be present with the child, provide a valid ID and sign the form.
Wired and Wireless Internet Access
The Library is pleased to offer wired and wi-fi Internet access to patron's own laptop or other personal digital assistants (PDAs) at the Main Library. Please check with the Reference Desk for details. Wi-Fi is also available at Fowler Library.

Loan Periods
4 weeks — Most adult books, paperbacks,
adult and children's audio music and spoken cassettes, most children's
books.
2 weeks — New "high demand" books,
TDD, career file, children's holiday books, encyclopedias.
1 week — Periodicals, videos, pamphlets,
CDROMs, DVDs, speed read.
1 day — Museum passes.
Fines and Charges
Fines are charged as follows for all library materials
which are returned overdue:
Adult items — $ .20/day ($5.00 maximum)
CDROMs — $1.00/day ($5.00 maximum)
Children's items — $ .20/day ($2.00 maximum)
Computer printouts — $ .15/page
Copy machines — $ .15/page
DVDs/Videos — $1.00/day ($5.00 maximum)
Museum passes — $10.00/day ($20.00 maximum)
Replace library card — $1.00
Speed read — $ .25/day
Lost/damaged items — Replacement cost - If the item is found, a refund minus any overdue fines will be made up to sixty days from the date of payment. Proof of payment is required for a refund. Please retain receipts received when payment is made at the library or print and retain the receipt when payment is made online by credit/debit card.
Returns
Items should be returned at the Circulation Desk. Book drops are also located
outside at each entrance for returns when the library is closed. To prevent
damage and a fine, some specifically labeled items may not be placed in the
book drops. Book drops are emptied one hour before closing. Items placed
in drops after that time will be checked in the next business day, and may
be subject to an overdue charge.
Renewals
Four week books may be renewed twice (some restrictions may apply). All
audio items, juvenile kits, videos and DVDs may be renewed once. All
other items are not renewable. Renewals may be made in person, by computer
(with a PIN) or by telephone, provided no one else has reserved them.
