A town-wide open house reception in honor of the Library Director

Barbara Powell's retirement was held in the Main Library Lobby

on June 18th, 2009.

The guests included the Town Manager, town senior managers

and employees, residents and library patrons, as well as representatives

from local organizations, the Minuteman Library Network,

Metrowest Regional Library Network and Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Belmont Public Library staff members also came to the party

to wish Powell, their former library director, the best.
