Celebrating the Art of Edward Waldo Emerson

This exhibition, on the first floor of the Main Library from July 30 - September 30, 2026, features a rare selection of works by Edward Waldo Emerson, son of Ralph Waldo Emerson, including many pieces on loan from private collections on view here for the first time. The exhibition also includes several paintings, sketchbooks, and his palette from the Concord Free Public Library’s William Munroe Special Collections, which also holds Edward’s papers.
